Wine Tasting and Italian Cuisine begins with a visit of two of our best wineries on ‘La strada del vino,’ The Wine Road. We’ll learn about the prestigious Bolgheri DOC and enjoy seven of the top SUPER TUSCAN wines.
We’ll start the tour with a visit to the enchanting, medieval village of Bolgheri. We will tour Bolgheri’s oldest wine cellar from the year 1700 inside the castle, taste their world-class wines, and complete our visit with a fresh and delicious gelato from Bolgheri’s famous gelato maker.
Following the visit to Bolgheri we will head to our second winery. We will tour the vineyard and cellar, meet the producer, and taste four of their top wines. After the wine tastings, you will be escorted to my kitchen where we will prepare a full course menu from antipasti to dessert using traditional recipes passed down in my family for generations. You will get a great introduction to Italian culinary traditions and cuisine.

Duration
Approximately 6 hours:
2,5 hour wine tasting followed by 3 hour cooking class.
Options include a lunch tour beginning at 10.00 am
or a dinner tour beginning at 3.00 pm.

Because we use fresh and seasonal ingredients from local suppliers and farms, our menu changes based on the season.
